Justin Williams, a player for the Los Angeles Kings won the Conn Smythe Trophy this week. Justin Williams stands as the Most Valuable Player in the National Hockey League for 2014. He plays with the Los Angeles Kings, the winners of the Stanley Cup this year. He is a veteran defenseman that has helped the Los Angeles Kings win countless amounts of games, he blocks anyone who comes in his way and it is for this reason alone that is why he is the Most Valuable Player for 2014.
Justin Williams just isn’t your average professional hockey player either. He has won three separate Stanley Cup Championships during his course as a professional hockey player. He has won two Stanley Cups with the Los Angeles Kings and he has won once with the Carolina Hurricanes. During his long career as a defensemen in the National Hockey League he has been able to get thousands upon thousands of fans, he has been able to be a role model to young hockey players everywhere. He deserves the Most Valuable Player title more than anyone else in the National Hockey League.

Some of the best hockey players ever in the NHL have won this trophy, it is an honor to have my name stand alongside theirs. I can only hope that I can win the trophy once again before I retire in the years to come, it would also be nice to get one more Stanley Cup under my belt.”
