Satoshi Tajiri, the creator behind almost every Pokémon game ever released made a statement regarding these two HD Remakes stating: “Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire were two of the most popular Pokémon games ever released in the series. The game brought new creatures into the game and allowed for the series to grow to new popularity. After releasing the HD Remakes of Pokémon Blue and Red we knew that the call for Ruby and Sapphire HD Remakes would come eventually. We are proud of what we have accomplished with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, we believe that it’ll be a new light to the world of Pokémon. We can only hope our loyal fans enjoy the experience they’ve been given.”
There is no word as to why Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire will be released on the market. We suspect that it’ll be near Christmas as this is when all of the other Pokemon games have been released. You will be required to own a Nintendo 3DS before you can play either one of these games. Purchasing a Nintendo 3DS will also allow for you to play games such as Zelda and Mario.
